Pranav is the founder and principal of Soryana, a workforce housing company managing a portfolio of Class B and C multifamily properties across the Chicago metro area. Over a 25-year career, he has participated in more than $70 million in real estate transactions, with a focus on acquisitions, asset management, and deep value investing in markets most people overlook. He holds a degree in Investment Finance from The Ohio State University and believes the best businesses — like the best investments — are built quietly, with patience, and in service of people who actually need what you're providing.
RAHUL SHAH, ADVISOR
Rahul Shah is Co-Founder and Managing Principal at Sherpa Capital Group, LLC (“Sherpa”). Sherpa manages a private capital fund that specializes in originating bridge and hard money loans secured by commercial and non-owner occupied real estate. Prior to Sherpa, Rahul was the founder of a mortgage banking company that originated more than $500M in residential and small balance commercial loans. Rahul graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1996) with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with Concentration in Finance. After graduating, he joined the Speciality Consulting Practice of Arthur Andersen. He also holds his CPA designation. Mr. Shah has consulted on more than 50 transactions in various industries with deal sizes ranging from $50M to $1B. Rahul currently resides in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago with his wife and 3 kids.
